Penn State's Bowman to enter draft; Royster staying

01/06/2010 - State College, PA (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Penn State linebacker Navorro Bowman will forgo his senior season and enter the 2010 NFL Draft while Nittany Lions running back Evan Royster announced he will stay for another year.

Both players made All-Big Ten first teams last season, which concluded with a victory over LSU in the Capital One Bowl on New Year's day.

Bowman notched his second consecutive first-team all-conference selection after recording 93 tackles -- 17 for loss -- with three sacks, two interceptions, five passes defended and two fumble recoveries last year.

"I am proud that I earned my degree and contributed to the team's successful seasons during my time at Penn State,"

Royster rushed for 1,169 yards to go with eight total touchdowns as a junior.

"I wanted to return to finish my degree and for my final year at Penn State," Royster said. "I'm looking forward to next season."
